Peptide reconstitution calculator
A reference utility for the reconstitution arithmetic: enter the peptide amount in the vial, the bacteriostatic water you add, and the dose you want to measure, and it returns the concentration, the syringe units, and the draw volume. Every figure is math from the values you enter.
Reconstitution arithmetic only. Enter your own values. This tool does not recommend doses.
Enter your vial, water, and target dose to see how far to draw on the syringe.
Use 1 for a single draw. Use 2 or more to divide the entered dose evenly.
Math check
- Concentration
- 5 mg ÷ 2 mL = 2.5 mg/mL
- = 2,500 mcg/mL
- Dose volume
- 250 mcg ÷ 2,500 mcg/mL = 0.10 mL
- Syringe units
- 0.10 mL × 100 units/mL = 10 units
- Doses per vial
- 5,000 mcg ÷ 250 mcg = 20 doses
- Concentration
- 2,500 mcg/mL
- Doses per vial
- 20 doses
How this is calculated
Convert the peptide amount to micrograms (mcg) if it was entered in mg: 1 mg = 1,000 mcg.
Concentration = total peptide amount ÷ water added.
Dose volume = target dose ÷ concentration.
Syringe units = dose volume × syringe scale (units/mL).
Doses per vial = total peptide amount ÷ target dose.
These are arithmetic relationships only — not a recommendation about what to use.
